the great nothing: Manchester's own alternative metal & post hardcore emergent - returning to The Ferret after their January headliner. Bringing disgusting 9 string rhythms blended with funky guitar work, anthemic choruses, upbeat drums paired crushing percussive energy all presented in an ever-evolving live show.

Cut Short: Liverpool based metal act come through with riffs on riffs on riffs - stank face tones, unrelenting energy and an equal weight of atmosphere that stands on its own, even pricking up the ears of Architects' own Sam Carter.  FFO: Heart of a Coward, Loathe.

Take Breath: a true gem of the Manchester heavy music scene: Take Breath bring their own unique passionate blend of cinematic post-hardcore and wall-of-sound alt-metal blend whilst drawing on influences outside of heavy music that can be summed in three words "a total vibe".  FFO: Thornhill, Modern Error.

Reckoner: bursting out of the midlands, post-hardcore heavyweights, reckoner have been quick to sell out headline shows with the success of strong single releases and explosive live shows being noted as "ones to watch". FFO: Underoath, Norma Jean, Every Time I Die.

Auraboros: bringing to the table crushing riffs, heavy hitting breakdowns, intense vocals, mesmerizing leads and soaring melodies coupled with a live performance that brings a chaotic energy and emphasises a queer flavour to the music. AURABOROS showcase themselves as one of the most unique acts in the British metal scene. FFO: Architects, Ice Nine Kills, The Defiled.

Kavity: With a mix of alternative rock and nu-metal, KAVITY focuses on bringing all the best elements of the alt genre together to create a supernova of everything that embodies the scene.


No Gods No Masters: A Nu-Metalcore band hailing from the UK, Pulling inspiration from a multitude of genres such as everything from Linkin Park to Slipknot and Chelsea Grin to Bring Me The Horizon.
