Taxloss Lovers + support TBA
Taxloss Lovers are four huge Mansun fans that recreate the energy, sound and excitement of being at a Mansun concert.
Taking their name from 1997 hit ‘Taxloss’, the band formed in 2014 as 500 fans from across the globe descended upon the ‘Mansun Convention’ in Chester; an event that was such a success it was championed with a two-page feature in the NME.
Mansun frontman Paul Draper was in attendance, and described the set as “amazingly accurate”, whilst posting video highlights onto Vine and Twitter.
Taxloss Lovers play a selection of Mansun classics including hits such as “Wide Open Space”, “Taxloss”, “Being a Girl”, “I Can Only Disappoint U” and “Stripper Vicar”, whilst in March 2015 they performed Mansun’s seminal album ‘Six’ in its entirety.
At the 2017 Mansun Convention the band were joined on stage by original Mansun drummer Andie Rathbone.
