Sly Antics / Ronda / Pennylands
Ones to watch – Radio 1
A band mastering the rock end of the musical scale – Fred Perry Subculture
‘A brilliant new band’ – Radio X
Sly Antics are two cousins Sam and Lee Hudson and another lad called Chris who make noise that feels like being hit hard and repeatedly in the face with a box of stale cereal.
They arrived onto the Manchester scene in 2016 with their epic debut EP Captive City in their pockets and have been relentlessly spreading their dirty pop-rock sound across the country ever since.
The boys have received a massive response from BBC Introducing, Louder Than War and Radio X due to their quick rise to sell out performances and festival appearances at Dot To Dot and Tramlines among many more huge artists.
Their live shows are labelled as ‘Raucous and ear blistering’ and song writing branded as ‘Catchy, clever and powerful’. In 2017, Sly Antics released single Motion along with a tour of incredible performances around the UK.
It won’t be long before Sly Antics are dominating the world with their gorgeous racket.
With their raw, energetic delivery, Preston’s very own 3 piece ‘Ronda’ are back with their heavy duty, lo-fi pop. Their DIY debut EP ‘Open Season’ is availble to listen online.
Liverpool based heavy indie 4-piece with Punk undertones and aggressive delivery. Despite being a relatively new band, Pennylands have already featured on BBC introducing Lancashire and smashed gigs across the North West, now making their Preston debut at The Ferret.
