Ded Rabbit / the Slumdogs / Clean Break / The Jake Heaton Band

Ded Rabbit

Four brothers outfit, Ded Rabbit is an Alt rock/Indie band consisting of: Eugene (vocals, rhythm guitar), Fergus (lead guitar), Donal (bass) and Eoin Gaine (drums).

With a number of well received EP and single releases, they’ve continued to complete a number of high profile performances that should be on any UK band’s bucket list.

Notable achievements include: Sync work with Channel 4 & BT Sport, Never Gonna Learn’ reaching over 245k Spotify streams, ‘Better On The Day’ Reaching No. 2 in the Spotify Viral top 50 chart March 2016, headlining the TBreak Stage on the Saturday night of T in The Park 2015, Kendal Calling 2017, Belladrum 2016, Xpo North 2015-6, Wide Days 2015, SAMA nomination for ‘Best Live Act 2015’, continued air play from BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lamacq and Vic Galloway and recent support from Sat Bisla on his ‘Passport Approved’ show which has been airing a number of Ded Rabbit tracks on various station worldwide including KROQ (Los Angeles).

Originally from Yorkshire, Ded Rabbit moved to the Highlands in 1996 and through the isolation and a developing love of music, the brothers started playing music together for over ten years. After moving to Edinburgh to study, they started working together in the studio, releasing their EPs ‘Wash Away’ 2014, ‘Wake Up In A Dream’ and ‘Moving In Slow Motion’. In 2015 the brotherly unit began their highly successful partnership with Glasgow based Rocket Science Studios, who have recorded the likes of Texas and Bell & Sebastian.

“Their music echoes the influences they cite like Hendrix and The Beatles (post-1965) but they are avid gig-goers too, eager to see what is going on nowadays, so they are just as likely to be out watching Peace or Palma Violets as they are at home listening to Abbey Road or Electric Ladyland”- John Paul Mason, Daily Record.

“With hints of The Housemartins and early Arctic Monkeys infused with a twist of funk and original lyrics, they have created a distinctive and highly listenable sound of their own.” – Olaf Furniss& Derick Mackinnon, Artist Of The Week: Scotland On Sunday.

“I know they’re very hard working and are building up a good following in the capital… classic Indie sound” – Vic Galloway, BBC Radio Scotland.

“Undeniable stage presence and performance skills”(-)”An exciting live band that will appeal widely and who are definitely festival-ready” – David Balfour, Record Of The Day.

The brothers have big plans for 2017 with a new single and European tour dates.

“It’s an explosive affair when you see Ded Rabbit live. I’d put them up there with Catfish and The Bottlemen as one of the best live acts around at the moment.” – Jim Gellatly.Amazing Radio.

The Slumdogs

A sound raw and intense however carrying a maturity, The Slumdogs paint the picture of modern British life and its dark tendencies through poetic lyrics and a gritty punk accompaniment. The hard-edged and in-your-face style translates to their live performances, making it every bit more captivating as their recordings.

‘The Slumdogs are everything good about rock n roll music. These four guys come at you with intensive energy, and layer each of their roles in the band in such a way that each has their own spotlight, consistently sharpening the others in the band.’ – The Shift TV

Jake Heaton Band

Hailing from the Northwest, these 4 lads create a intense, infectious live atmosphere. With influences from bands such as Kings of Leon, Stereophonics and Arctic Monkeys, the band put their own twist on the covers they do.
Their originals are catchy and infectious. Jake alters his originals and covers to suit crowd participation. Their originals can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Apple music etc. The friendship on stage is very clear.
These lads are not to be missed.
